1984 Dad came up for a stay so we got him back on Horseback he had not ridden since he was in his Twenties
when during the War he was in The Kings Troop Royal Artillery and in 1984 he was 67
Rufus was Gary's first Horse his full name was Brookdale Rufus a Part Bred Arab he had enormous Scope
but unfortunately He had to be put down in 1987 aged 7 he is still sadly missed Rocky was Lesley's first Pony
and she was a character when she had had enough she would dump the rider and pop back to our house for a snack
she lived to a rip old age well into her late 30's
